Construction has been completed on an amphitheater for a local New Urban Forestry and Hungry Gnome Gardenscapes customer. In addition to the zipline previously installed by New Urban Forestry, the benches surrounding the amphitheater were milled by New Urban Forestry from a Water Oak taken from the customer’s property. Untreated, these 3-4″ slabs will last 12 or more years.
The amphitheater is located in a former trash pile on the property and the family looks forward to sharing this place with their friends, family, theater group, and church. Hungry Gnome put so many wonderful small details in the construction. From the spiral arms in Fibonacci sequence to the inlaid sun and planetary firepits, it is truly a work of art. It is also a great use of recycled materials; the wood from their own yard was used for the benches and granite was salvaged from monument mills near Elberton.
